Naviance, much like Career Cruising, is an online application that allows students to explore various careers through search engines or assessments/inventories.  Typically, students have been exposed to Naviance due to Counseling Core Guidance Curriculum administered at each of the D214 schools.  Naviance provides students with the opportunity to complete the Career Interest Profiler assessment, which matches student interests and values with specific vocations.  Students can select a profession and research day-to-day activities, key qualities, wages, and related careers.     

 

In order to access Naviance, students are required to have a login ID and password.  The student should be aware of her/his information; however, students can reset passwords using the Naviance self-service site.

Login:  first initial of first name, last name, last 4 digits of their student ID#  

Password: full student ID#
