High School District 214
Center for Career Discovery
Career Cruising
®
Career Cruising is a web-based career exploration resource that is made available by the District to all currently-enrolled students. The application has various capabilities, including, but not limited to, career interest inventories, skills assessments, resume building tools, video interviews of real-world professionals, wage information, college options, and learning styles.
This web-based application is especially effective in helping students pair their interests with specific career clusters and pathways. It allows students to easily navigate the day-to-day responsibilities, work environments, educational path, wages, and college majors associated with certain occupations. Career Cruising is aesthetically appealing and very intuitive for students, and it removes many hurdles of online career investigation. Students can access the Career Cruising application through their iPad or desktop at any time.
A login is required for a student to access his/her account. If you have any issues with accessing Career Cruising, please contact the school's Career Advisor or College Counselor.
