Career-Related Trips (Career Treks)
Career-oriented field trips, often referred to as Career Treks, provide focused career experiences for students who participate in the Career Exploration Model, students who have demonstrated career interest through course registration, or students who have met with the school's Career Advisor to indicate interest.
Students who attend career treks have a concentrated interest in the field being explored. While students are able to attend during the school day, all course work will need to be made-up and students should inform all of their teachers that they will be absent prior to date of the trip.
Career trek opportunities provide students with exposure to work-site experiences and can be hands-on. Students are expected to act and dress appropriately based on the nature of the career trek. Please meet with the school's Career Advisor prior to the scheduled career trek in order to obtain a permission form and additional trip information.
